Essential Skills and Experience:

• Current Physical Therapist license valid in the state of Connecticut
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and goal documentation
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student populations
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and educators
• Proficiency in managing a flexible schedule across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual formats
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration to support student progress
• Document interventions, track student outcomes, and provide updates for IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding best practices in physical therapy for children
• Support transition planning and continuity of care as students advance through the school year
