What we’re looking for:
- Current and valid Oregon Physical Therapist license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based PT or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Capability to conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and track student progress
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in a dynamic school environment
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional best practices
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing students to identify developmental and physical needs impacting their educational participation
- Developing and executing individualized therapy interventions and goals
- Maintaining thorough, compliant records and progress notes
- Consulting with school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
- Engaging with families to support carryover of interventions at home
