Physical Therapist - School Setting in Harrisburg, PA

As a full-time contract Physical Therapist, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated onsite PT and help deliver essential services to maximize students’ potential.

Your expertise will aid in developing and implementing therapy programs tailored to individual needs, ensuring all students receive the support necessary for academic success. The role offers the chance to work across multiple campuses, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ motor skills and needs within K-12 settings
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the onsite PT
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing your expertise to support student outcomes
• Provide guidance and training to school personnel regarding mobility and adaptive equipment
