Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Physical Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Skill in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students in PreK-3rd grade as determined by IEPs and assessment
- Administer screenings, evaluations, and create individualized intervention plans
- Provide both direct and consultative support in the classroom or therapy setting
- Maintain thorough documentation of treatments, progress, and outcomes according to school requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, occupational and speech therapists, and families on student needs and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing assessment data and recommendations for services
- Adapt activities and materials to enhance participation in school routines and increase student independence
