Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Physical Therapy license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric PT settings preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong understanding of IEP process and goal development
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and compassion in working with diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students as referred
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to address students’ unique needs
- Support students’ access to the educational curriculum by improving mobility and physical function
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings to support student success
- Provide education and recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
