Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school therapy processes
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, collaborating easily with teachers, parents, and educational staff
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions for students with diverse needs
- Flexibility to adapt to changing student caseloads and schedules
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and direct intervention for students according to IEP goals
- Develop tailored treatment plans that promote mobility, motor skills, and independence within the school setting
- Accurately document sessions, progress, and outcomes for each student in accordance with school policies
- Consult and collaborate with other educational professionals and families to optimize student care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to support educational success
- Support a caseload of approximately 30 contacts per week with the option to divide the schedule for those interested in part-time work
