This full-time role spans both the Extended School Year (ESY) summer schedule (6/15/26 - 7/17/26) and the 2026-2027 academic calendar, ensuring a seamless transition for students and staff alike. What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in California
  • Background or specialized training in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
  • Experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload across several nearby schools
  • Dedication to fostering independence and functional mobility for students

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Assessing and documenting student progress, goals, and outcomes
  • Delivering consultative support to school staff for accessibility and mobility needs
  • Adjusting interventions and supports across school sites, as needed
