Physical Therapist - School Setting in Henrico, VA

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid state licensure for Physical Therapy
• Experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs and special education requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and school staff
• Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments, interventions, and documentation for students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized goal planning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' therapy goals
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and other school environments
• Educate and train staff and caregivers on strategies to promote student independence
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
