Physical Therapist - School Setting in Herald, CA

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state
• Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Expertise in delivering physical therapy assessments and interventions in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to documentation requirements
• Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services and adapt activities to meet students’ needs within the school environment
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote inclusive learning and engagement
• Monitor and document students’ progress toward therapeutic goals
• Educate teachers, families, and staff on strategies that facilitate student success
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing student support plans
