Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop targeted treatment plans
- Deliver direct physical therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal development, and maintain ongoing documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Track student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and provide consultation to school staff
- Support classroom adaptations and advocate for accessibility
