This contract opportunity centers on conducting a comprehensive assessment—alongside an Occupational Therapist—of two students. You'll play a crucial part in evaluating their needs and providing professional recommendations within a supportive school environment near Herriman, UT. Following the initial assessment, there is the possibility of ongoing weekly work with one or two students, based on the results and determined support requirements.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current PT license and credentials to practice in a school setting
  • Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based physical therapy
  • Proficient understanding of multi-disciplinary assessment processes (PT/OT)
  • Ability to create clear, comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
  • Professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to student wellbeing

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with an Occupational Therapist to assess two students’ physical and functional abilities
  • Develop and document evaluation results and recommendations in line with school requirements
  • Consult with faculty and support staff to share findings and next steps
  • If recommended, deliver weekly PT services to designated students, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Maintain compliance with pertinent regulations, confidentiality, and ethical standards
