School-Based Physical Therapist - Herrin, Illinois

What You’ll Bring:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
• Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Proficiency in conducting IEP evaluations and documentation
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
• Ability to collaborate and co-supervise Physical Therapist Assistants effectively
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete new and ongoing IEPs, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students across various needs
• Work closely with another Physical Therapist to ensure high-quality, compliant therapy services
• Provide co-supervision and mentorship to two onsite Physical Therapist Assistants
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student goals and accommodations
• Maintain organized records and comply with all relevant school and state procedures

Position Details:

• Serve in a local school system from August 2026 through May 2027
• Schedule is 8–16 hours per week based on your availability
