What You’ll Bring:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficiency in conducting IEP evaluations and documentation
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate and co-supervise Physical Therapist Assistants effectively
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete new and ongoing IEPs, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students across various needs
- Work closely with another Physical Therapist to ensure high-quality, compliant therapy services
- Provide co-supervision and mentorship to two onsite Physical Therapist Assistants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student goals and accommodations
- Maintain organized records and comply with all relevant school and state procedures
Position Details:
- Serve in a local school system from August 2026 through May 2027
- Schedule is 8–16 hours per week based on your availability
