School-Based Physical Therapist - Hialeah, FL

This contract-based opportunity allows you to work with children and adolescents, delivering care that supports their academic experience and helps them achieve their fullest physical potential. The role involves a flexible, travel-based schedule, or the option to serve all locations virtually through teletherapy (VOCO).

Opportunities are available at several schools, including charter institutions in Lee County, St. Augustine, Palm Beach, and Port St. Lucie. Schedules range from 20 minutes to 1 hour per week at each location, with one school requiring just 30 minutes each month. Services commence August 10th, providing time to prepare for a rewarding new assignment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for Florida
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy highly preferred
• Comfort with flexible scheduling and multiple locations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to engage students in a variety of educational environments
• Willingness to provide therapy either onsite or through virtual platforms

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized physical therapy plans for each student
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated care and student success
• Maintain detailed records and uphold compliance with all relevant guidelines
• Provide both direct and consultative services as appropriate to support students’ IEP goals
• Travel to assigned campuses, or deliver teletherapy sessions as needed
