A dynamic opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to support students from PreK through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting located in High Point, NC. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and requires dedication to delivering therapeutic services that enhance student mobility and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare staff, and families to develop effective therapy plans.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Adapt strategies to support diverse learning environments from PreK to 12th grade.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with active credentials in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience working with school-aged children across a wide grade range, preferably PreK-12.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop individualized intervention plans within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school personnel and families.
  • Comfort managing a weekly schedule of 30-32 hours with flexibility as required.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based in High Point, NC within a public K-12 school.
  • Contract role for the current school year, starting ASAP and extending through the end of the school year.
  • Approximately 30-32 hours per week, providing a manageable part-time commitment.
