Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, providing exceptional services to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This full-time placement, spanning 35 hours per week, begins October 12, 2026, and runs through March 12, 2027. You’ll support the educational journey of students by covering two consecutive maternity leaves, making a meaningful impact during the fall and winter.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Physical Therapist license in Ohio
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, staff, and families
- Skilled at assessing, planning, and delivering therapy for K-12 students
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities, setting attainable goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the educational team
- Provide direct therapy to students of varying ages and abilities
- Monitor, document, and report student progress to parents and multidisciplinary team members
- Educate staff and caregivers on effective strategies and accommodations to support student growth
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as district procedures
- Manage caseload efficiently across different grade levels
