Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable, organized, and able to manage a flexible, itinerant schedule
- Willingness to work with diverse student populations, ages preschool through high school
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and functional mobility, using appropriate assessments
- Develop interventions and therapy goals consistent with individual educational plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services in line with best practices and district guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in both academic and physical activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all sessions and communications
- Travel efficiently between assigned school locations
