Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable, organized, and able to manage a flexible, itinerant schedule
  • Willingness to work with diverse student populations, ages preschool through high school

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ motor skills and functional mobility, using appropriate assessments
  • Develop interventions and therapy goals consistent with individual educational plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services in line with best practices and district guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in both academic and physical activities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all sessions and communications
  • Travel efficiently between assigned school locations
