School-Based Physical Therapist - Holyoke, MA

Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and independence as a school-based Physical Therapist. From August 24th, 2026, through June 16th, 2027, you'll work closely with a small, focused caseload of 7-9 students, delivering individualized therapy and collaborating with compassionate educators. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping each student reach their potential, empowering them to participate fully in their educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Commitment to student-centered care and progress

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and assist in developing goals and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
• Adapt therapy approaches to classroom routines and promote student independence
• Offer support and education to school staff regarding physical therapy interventions and accessibility
