This role runs from August 24th, 2026, through June 16th, 2027, offering a supportive setting where your expertise as a Physical Therapist will truly make an impact. You'll manage a well-balanced caseload of 7-9 students, collaborating closely with educators and families to maximize student success.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Capable of effective documentation and progress reporting.
- Proficiency working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to therapy programs as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to integrate therapeutic recommendations into daily routines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and goals.
- Educate staff on student strategies, adaptive equipment, and accessibility.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation for compliance with school and state regulations.
