Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and independence as a school-based Physical Therapist. From August 24th, 2026, through June 16th, 2027, you'll work closely with a small, focused caseload of 7-9 students, delivering individualized therapy and collaborating with compassionate educators. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping each student reach their potential, empowering them to participate fully in their educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Commitment to student-centered care and progress
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and assist in developing goals and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches to classroom routines and promote student independence
- Offer support and education to school staff regarding physical therapy interventions and accessibility
