Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with active credential in the state
  • Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric therapy approaches and best practices
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ physical development and functional abilities in collaboration with educational staff
  • Design and provide targeted therapeutic interventions for students in need of physical support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals and accommodations
  • Educate and train staff and families on strategies and equipment to support student participation
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, interventions, and services provided
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student success
