Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Louisiana
• Demonstrated experience in school, pediatric, or educational-based PT strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with educators, families, and other therapists
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Prior contract or travel experience in a school setting is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support student goals
• Deliver direct therapy services within classrooms or designated therapy spaces
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in line with federal, state, and district requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports, providing professional insight on student performance and recommendations
• Offer training and guidance to staff and families on integrating PT strategies in daily routines
