School-Based Physical Therapist - Homer, LA

Make a difference in the lives of young children by supporting early intervention as a physical therapist within a school setting. This part-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to work with a small caseload of 3-4 year-olds as part of an early interventionist team during the 2026-2027 school year.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid and current Louisiana PT license
• Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric therapy, particularly with early childhood populations
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student developmental goals
• Professional communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to creating a positive and nurturing environment for young learners

You’ll be responsible for:

• Conducting physical therapy assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans for a preschool caseload
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes
• Clearly documenting progress, maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
• Participating in team meetings to set goals and review student progress
• Providing education and guidance to staff and families on best practices for motor development

This contract covers the full 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in August and finishing in May (dates subject to change). The schedule is part-time with a low caseload, potentially working fewer than four days per week.
