Join a dedicated team of school-based Physical Therapists supporting students across multiple schools in the Hope Mills and Fayetteville area. This rewarding contract opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact on student development and mobility throughout the academic year, with a flexible summer ESY (Extended School Year) schedule as well.
Physical Therapists will serve a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students in collaboration with a PT/PTA team, working with all grade levels. Assignments involve traveling between multiple nearby school sites, and mileage reimbursement will be provided to support your efforts. The ideal professional for this position will have experience with early intervention—especially TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) for Pre-K evaluations or a willingness to learn, though certification is not required.
To work with Pre-K students, all Physical Therapists must undergo fingerprinting as a compliance measure.
Desired Qualifications:

- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with early intervention or experience conducting Pre-K assessments (TPBA-trained/certified, preferred but not required)
- Commitment to thorough documentation and collaboration within a multidisciplinary education setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with students, families, and school staff
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services and interventions to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with PT/PTA team members, educators, and families
- Conduct necessary evaluations, including Pre-K assessments if qualified
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Manage a flexible schedule across multiple school sites with mileage reimbursement
Take on a meaningful contract in a supportive educational environment, featuring consistent Monday-Friday hours: 8am – 3:30pm during the school year, and 8am – 12:30pm, Monday-Thursday, for ESY. If you’re passionate about empowering students through therapy and ready to make a difference, we encourage you to apply today!
