Physical Therapist - School Setting in Humble, TX

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you’ll work 20 hours per week, collaborating within educational teams to help students reach their fullest potential.

Your responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, delivering direct therapy services, and ensuring effective supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). Your role will be critical in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas
• Experience or interest in working within school-based settings (K-12 preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
• Skilled in the evaluation and development of student-centered interventions
• Previous supervision or teamwork experience with PTAs is an asset

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of students’ physical therapy needs
• Planning and implementing individualized therapy sessions as outlined in IEPs
• Consulting and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Supervising activities and documentation of PTAs
• Traveling to and providing services at multiple schools within the district
• Maintaining accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school policies
