Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and collaborate effectively with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide evidence-based physical therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and IEP goals
- Consult with educators and families regarding student progress and therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Adapt therapy approaches and collaborate to promote positive outcomes within the classroom
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices
