As a contract Physical Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring students achieve their fullest potential while working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and collaborate effectively with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide evidence-based physical therapy services to students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans and IEP goals
  • Consult with educators and families regarding student progress and therapy strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
  • Adapt therapy approaches and collaborate to promote positive outcomes within the classroom
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices
