Position Summary
Avon Community School Corporation is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports a manageable K–12 caseload of approximately 25 students and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced, flexible schedule.
This position is a great fit for PTs based in Indianapolis or surrounding communities looking for a consistent school-based role with purpose and structure.
Schedule
- Part-time: 3 days per week
- Follows the school calendar (holidays and breaks off)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students in improving mobility and participation in school activities
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Physical Therapist (PT) license
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a small, consistent caseload
