Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid and current physical therapy licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and develop creative treatment plans for a diverse student population
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ physical development and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
• Support curriculum adaptation and classroom modifications as needed
• Educate staff and families on physical therapy strategies and interventions
