Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- Prior experience providing PT services in schools, with a preference for K-12 settings
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, student evaluations, and progress reports
- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and fostering accessibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students per IEP mandates
- Conduct assessments and craft personalized intervention plans
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Contribute to IEP meetings, reviews, and team discussions as required
- Provide recommendations for adaptive strategies and equipment as needed
