Key Qualifications:

  • Valid NJ Physical Therapy license required
  • Experience in a school setting (K-12) is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple schools within the district
  • Must complete or obtain New Jersey-mandated requirements: recent TB test, physical, and fingerprint clearance for both the agency and district
  • Comfortable participating in a virtual Zoom interview
  • Adaptable, collaborative mindset for working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assess student needs, develop appropriate intervention plans, and monitor progress
  • Work district-wide, traveling between multiple school sites as scheduled
  • Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student success
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and district requirements

This full-time role covers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30AM to 3:15PM. The assignment runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027.
