School-Based Physical Therapist - Jersey City, NJ

This full-time contract position offers an engaging schedule from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours weekly for the 2026-2027 academic year. Desired Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license
• Prior school-based Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Comfort and adaptability working district-wide with K-12 students
• Ability to meet all New Jersey onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical, and fingerprint clearance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and organized, able to navigate multiple school environments
• Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students with varied needs across several schools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Travel as needed within the district to serve assigned schools and caseloads
• Adhere to all state, school district, and professional guidelines
