Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure and credentials to practice as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
- Recent experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Comfortable in both resource and self-contained educational environments, working with children from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to engage with team members and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students on your caseload
- Develop effective treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and student needs
- Coordinate with educators, family members, and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings, roundtables, and professional development opportunities
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the department
