This position is conveniently located near Joliet, IL, and offers part-time flexibility—working onsite two days a week for a total of 15 hours per week, serving K-12 students in both resource and self-contained settings. Begin your experience with a thorough orientation on August 3 and 4, with students arriving on August 7, 2026, and the assignment extending through May 20, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure and credentials to practice as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
  • Recent experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Comfortable in both resource and self-contained educational environments, working with children from kindergarten through twelfth grade
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills to engage with team members and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students on your caseload
  • Develop effective treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and student needs
  • Coordinate with educators, family members, and other related service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, roundtables, and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the department
