Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Georgia
- Prior experience supporting pediatric clients, preferably in a school-based or pediatric healthcare environment
- Ability to work effectively with students ranging from PreK to high school
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students of all abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students as guided by IEPs and school requirements
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to address a range of physical needs
- Monitor, track, and report student progress using school-based documentation systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Educate staff and family members on techniques and strategies to support student mobility and accessibility in the school environment
