School-Based Physical Therapist - Kent, WA

In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure)
• Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ physical capabilities and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide therapy to support access to educational opportunities and daily school activities
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate staff and family members about carrying over therapeutic strategies
• Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
