Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Washington
• A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate or Master’s)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to develop tailored intervention plans and adapt to diverse student needs
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage resources and caseload efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ physical abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with IEP teams
• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, focusing on functional independence and mobility within the school context
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Educate and support school staff and families regarding appropriate techniques and accommodations
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
