Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California
  • Prior experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Previous work with special education (SPED) populations preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
  • Compassionate, flexible, and patient approach to therapy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services primarily to PreK students in accordance with IEPs and state/federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Assess, plan, and implement PT interventions for students with a range of developmental and physical abilities
  • Document services; track progress and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
