Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued
- Previous work with special education (SPED) populations preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
- Compassionate, flexible, and patient approach to therapy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services primarily to PreK students in accordance with IEPs and state/federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Assess, plan, and implement PT interventions for students with a range of developmental and physical abilities
- Document services; track progress and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
