This part-time, contract role is perfect for a skilled Physical Therapist passionate about supporting students in their earliest years. You'll work exclusively on-site with PreK–2nd grade students, helping them reach their fullest potential through tailored interventions and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (confirmation required)
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Experience serving pediatric and/or school populations preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Ability to deliver services exclusively on-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy aligned with student IEP goals for an assigned caseload
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and co-develop individualized therapy programs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, service providers, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Keep precise documentation, progress notes, and compliance records using ECATS and Infinite Campus
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Facilitate students’ mobility, access, and participation throughout the school environment
  • Regularly assess progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed

With workdays spanning August 17, 2026, to June 4, 2027, you’ll engage with approximately three students for three hours each week. This focused caseload lets you deliver impactful services while maintaining a flexible schedule.
