Make a real impact in the upcoming school year as a contract Physical Therapist in the Kingman, AZ area, starting July 15th for the 26/27 academic year. This part-time opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students’ mobility and functional abilities, with a manageable schedule of 8 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- School-based physical therapy experience strongly preferred
- Background in pediatric therapy or experience collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to independently manage a small caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess and document student needs and progress, participating actively in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement student-centered interventions
- Advise on modifications, equipment, and adaptive strategies to enhance student participation in the school setting
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements
