Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Washington Physical Therapist license or be willing to obtain one prior to the start date
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI or prepared to complete district fingerprinting requirements
- Demonstrated experience or passion for working with school-age children (K-12)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff and families
- Previous experience in school-based physical therapy is highly preferred
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet varied student needs
- Commitment to providing onsite services (no remote or virtual candidates)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25-30 students across the district
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Travel between school sites as needed to deliver services
