Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of PreK and elementary-age students.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to develop and deliver individualized therapy plans.
- Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to PreK and elementary students, promoting mobility, motor skills, and independence.
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and document progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement supportive classroom strategies and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input and recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory and district standards.
