Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a skilled Physical Therapist, supporting PreK and elementary students throughout the 2026/2027 school year. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a positive impact in educational environments, offering a consistent 30-hour week across a flexible four-day schedule. Spend two days each week in Albuquerque and two days in Santa Fe, building strong relationships with school teams and students.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the unique needs of PreK and elementary-age students.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to develop and deliver individualized therapy plans.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to PreK and elementary students, promoting mobility, motor skills, and independence.
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and document progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement supportive classroom strategies and ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input and recommendations.
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory and district standards.
