Step into an enriching contract opportunity delivering physical therapy services to PreK and elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. With a schedule spanning from August 3, 2026, to June 4, 2027, this role allows you to make a meaningful impact across two vibrant communities. You’ll provide support 30 hours per week, working four days split between ABQ and Santa Fe.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license for New Mexico
  • Experience working with children in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and therapy documentation
  • Ability to adapt session plans to varied learning and development needs of PreK and elementary students
  • Reliable transportation between designated locations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect physical therapy services to students in PreK and elementary settings
  • Assess student motor skills and develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with educators and IEP teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and session notes
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
  • Travel between ABQ and Santa Fe locations two days each per week
