Make a real impact in a student's life by providing individualized care as a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Physical Therapist in a supportive educational setting near Lansdale, Pennsylvania. This unique contract opportunity involves working closely with a middle school student who is medically fragile and bed-bound, delivering hands-on therapy services designed to support their academic journey and physical well-being.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists—including Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist colleagues—to ensure comprehensive support for the student. This long-term, year-round position offers the chance to build lasting professional relationships and become a consistent presence for both the student and their family.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric and/or school settings
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred (interpreting services may be available for strong candidates who are not bilingual)
  • Experience working with medically fragile or bed-bound children is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to consistency and continuity of care over multiple academic years

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, in-person physical therapy services to a middle school student for 2.5 hours per week
  • Adapt and modify therapeutic interventions to accommodate the student’s health needs and environment
  • Work closely with the student’s family and other therapists to develop and implement meaningful treatment goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation as required
