School-Based Physical Therapist - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Make an impact this summer supporting students in their educational journey as a contract Physical Therapist. Work with dedicated teams across two school sites in the Lansdale and Upper Merion areas, providing your expertise during Extended School Year (ESY) programs. This short-term opportunity runs from June 29th through July 30th, Monday through Thursday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the unique needs of school-aged children and special education populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and other therapists
• Strong communication skills for effective interactions with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility to travel between two local school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions in alignment with students’ IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and document student progress
• Collaborate with education professionals to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and educational staff about student progress
• Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of each student
