School Physical Therapist | Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Exciting opportunity available to make a difference in students’ lives as a Physical Therapist working in a school-based setting near Lansdale, PA! This contract position covers the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from July 1st through July 30th. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9am to 1pm, at the 5/6 Grade Center, giving you a predictable workweek and afternoons free for personal time or other pursuits.

Key Qualifications:
• Pennsylvania licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience providing physical therapy services to school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP goals and ability to implement therapy accordingly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative spirit to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of different learners and respond to changing schedules

Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective physical therapy sessions to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and collaborate on goal-setting for student progress
• Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation
• Communicate with educators, staff, and families regarding student progress
• Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students in the 5/6 Grade Center
• Participate in team meetings as necessary
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
