Step into a meaningful opportunity serving students in a supportive school environment as a contract Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role primarily focuses on the Newtown area, with occasional caseload responsibilities in the Morrisville/Pennsbury area. The position spans 3-4 days per week (21-28 hours weekly), beginning August 24, 2026 and extending through June 11, 2027, with scheduling potential into the summer. Coverage also encompasses Carbon and Lehigh Counties.

Ideal candidates are collaborative, adaptable, and committed to making a difference in early childhood education. This is a fully in-person role requiring dedication to best practices in school-based therapy.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold current, active state credentials and licensure required for school-based PT practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with preschool populations in an educational setting
  • Previous experience or comfort with multi-site service delivery
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills in collaborative environments
  • Commitment to professional ethics and state guidelines
  • Flexibility for travel within the designated service area as needed

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and best clinical practices
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective individualized plans
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and service logs
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Assist in developing accessible learning and participation opportunities for students
  • Adapt scheduling and therapy approaches according to student needs and caseload distribution
