Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Wyoming Physical Therapy license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and related documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
- Flexibility and dedication to making a positive difference in students’ lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans that support academic participation and physical well-being
- Provide direct PT services, consults, and support as needed per student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other stakeholders
- Document ongoing progress and maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and school-based team consultations
- Assist in developing accessibility solutions and adaptations within the school environment
