Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active and current State Physical Therapist License
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and ethical practice
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ academic and physical goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and contributing to individualized education plans
- Educate school staff and families on strategies and supports that foster student growth
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and progress
