Physical Therapist - School Setting in Lawrence, MA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
• Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and legal requirements for school-based therapy
• Additional Massachusetts educational certifications may be required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Committed to supporting student mobility, motor development, and participation in educational activities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, delivering both individual and group interventions
• Evaluate and assess students’ motor abilities and develop individualized therapy plans to support educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reports
• Maintain accurate treatment records and communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families
• Offer staff consultation and training as needed to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom routines
• Remain compliant with all state and district policies and procedures
