A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide services in a school setting near Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 15-25 minutes from Atlanta. This role supports a caseload of 25-35 students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience in pediatric and school-based therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the developmental needs of students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications.
- Support students in developing functional mobility, balance, coordination, and strength to enhance their academic participation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience or strong preference for pediatric and/or school-based settings.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently, providing 40 hours per week of dedicated service.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques appropriate for PreK-12 students.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability to begin assignment promptly and commitment through May 21, 2026.

- Based in Lawrenceville, GA, with easy access to schools located near Tucker, GA, within Dekalb County.
