Physical Therapist - School Setting in Lawrenceville, GA

A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide services in a school setting near Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 15-25 minutes from Atlanta. This role supports a caseload of 25-35 students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience in pediatric and school-based therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the developmental needs of students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications.
• Support students in developing functional mobility, balance, coordination, and strength to enhance their academic participation.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience or strong preference for pediatric and/or school-based settings.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently, providing 40 hours per week of dedicated service.
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques appropriate for PreK-12 students.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability to begin assignment promptly and commitment through May 21, 2026.
