Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience providing PT services in a school setting is valued, though strong clinical backgrounds with a passion for working with children are welcome
• Strong understanding of pediatric care, IEP process, and related documentation requirements
• Excellent communication with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to suit diverse student needs and learning environments
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and meet deadlines effectively
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and nurturing atmosphere for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional mobility, motor skills, and needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with educational goals and IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent support
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes according to school and state guidelines
• Provide training and resources to staff on strategies to promote student independence and participation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
