Physical Therapist - School Setting in Lawrenceville, GA

This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and running through the end of the school year. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering care that supports student success and well-being.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and their implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and maintain detailed documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess and evaluate students’ motor skills and develop treatment plans to address identified needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes on all interventions and outcomes
• Contribute as a member of the IEP team, participating in goal-setting and review meetings
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to improve students’ functional abilities
