This role offers a chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of fewer than 50 students, ranging from preschool through high school. Your primary focus will be on a Developmental Day Center, with occasional travel between up to seven schools—typically visiting one or two schools per day. The assignment begins April 20 and runs through June 9 (with most responsibilities concluding with the school year on June 5, pending documentation and final meetings).

Key Qualifications:

  • License to practice Physical Therapy (PT) in North Carolina
  • Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to efficiently manage a moderate caseload across multiple sites
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between schools

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and document findings, progress, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student goals
  • Maintain regular, organized documentation for each student
  • Travel between designated sites as needed, focusing on the Developmental Day Center
