Physical Therapist - School Setting in Leominster, MA

Make a meaningful impact in a school environment by delivering essential physical therapy services to students. This contract opportunity offers the unique chance to work one day per week (7.5 hours) near Leominster, MA, supporting students’ functional movement and development while collaborating closely with educational teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted physical therapy interventions for school-aged children in accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and ongoing progress monitoring for students receiving services.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and participation in school activities.
• Prepare professional and accurate reports on student progress, documentation, and IEP goal review.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive, inclusive educational experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current best practices and legal requirements for school-based therapy.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy (PT) license in Massachusetts.
• Previous experience providing physical therapy in a school or pediatric environment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals.
• Strong written communication skills for effective report writing.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently within a flexible, one-day-per-week schedule.
