Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing students’ physical therapy needs through evaluations and observations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Providing direct PT interventions within educational environments
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ success
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Educating staff and families about mobility, positioning, and safe participation in school activities
