Qualifications:
• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance standards
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with educational staff, families, and outside providers
• Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
• Organizational proficiency and accurate documentation skills
• Current CPR certification and familiarity with assistive devices

Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ motor abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of educational plans
• Provide direct therapy in group and one-on-one settings, both push-in and pull-out
• Educate teachers, support staff, and families on equipment usage and accessibility accommodations
• Maintain thorough records of progress, goals, and measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with broader clinical and educational teams for student success
