Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist
- Experience or strong interest in school-based physical therapy
- Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals to create effective treatment plans
- Motivated, adaptable, and ready to embrace new challenges
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement evidence-based PT interventions and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing progress reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents/guardians to optimize student outcomes
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a safe, inclusive school environment
- Support students in achieving greater independence in classroom and campus activities
