School-Based Physical Therapist - Lexington, North Carolina

A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting located in Lexington, NC. This role offers 30-32 hours per week throughout the current school year (CSY), starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY). The position serves students from PreK through 12th grade, delivering essential therapeutic services to support their physical development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs across PreK-12th grade levels.
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student-centered care planning.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school settings.
• Familiarity with pediatric therapeutic techniques appropriate for a PreK-12 population.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school personnel, students, and families.
• Ability to manage caseload and maintain professional documentation.
• Experience supporting both educational and healthcare goals within school environments is preferred.
